On this coastal expedition, you’ll have the opportunity to come face to face with some of Florida’s wackiest residents: its animals!
The Keys are home to a variety of extraordinary species that form a one-of-a-kind ecosystem. With amazing adventures to be had both underwater and on land, endless discoveries await.

- Explore the unique ecology and history of the Florida wetlands on a Shark Valley Tram Tour.
- Swim with dolphins, then learn more about the majestic creatures at the Island Dolphin Care Center.
- Hike through the scenic mangrove and wild tamarind trails at Pennekamp State Park.
- Spot wildlife like the endangered leatherback turtle, Florida panther, and West Indian manatee at Everglades National Park.
Program Highlights

Curry Hammock State Park
Venture south to a more remote area of the Keys and explore seagrass in an area exclusive to your group. Get your feet wet in the seagrass beds while dip-netting for a diverse array of species, then conduct water sampling to evaluate the health of the beds.

Turtle Hospital
Meet veterinarians, researchers, and staff who have helped rehabilitate over 1,000 sick and injured sea turtles at this world-class sea turtle hospital. Observe turtles recovering from surgery and learn about conservation efforts.

Garden Cove Kayak Trip
Embark on an exciting kayak trip through the mangroves. Led by expert guides, you’ll get an opportunity to explore Florida’s diverse environments and wildlife. Look around the mangrove roots for fish, oysters, and the American crocodile!

Reef Snorkel Trip
Ride a boat to one of Florida’s spectacular offshore coral reefs at Pennekamp State Park, the first underwater park in the United States. Slip into the water to snorkel amongst thousands of vibrant tropical fish and coral.

Day 1
Arrive in Key Largo and partake in a team building activity

Snorkel, hike, and swim with dolphins—all in one day!
Day 3
Visit a turtle hospital and learn to identify coral reef fish
Day 4
Kayak and snorkel in and around the Everglades, plus see Everglades National Park

Take a tram tour of Shark Valley before departing for home
