Program Highlights

San Juan

Experience San Juan and its 400 years of Spanish colonial history. See the Capitol building, plazas, and museums. Enter El Morro Castle, an impressive military fortification.

El Yunque Caribbean National Forest

Surrounded by millennium-old trees, catching a glimpse of the bright feathers of the Puerto Rican parrot, and listening to the distinctive chanting of the coquí frogs, you’ll understand why native Puerto Ricans consider this forest the home of the god of happiness.

Ponce

Colonial architecture, colorful balconies, horse-drawn carriages, and marble-lined sidewalks all give Ponce its undeniable charm. The town’s elegant cathedral rises from the main square—the building’s bright red and black stripes contrast with the surrounding buildings’ calm pastels.

Camuy Caves

Descend into a Tolkien-like world of glowing caves, fern-shaded ravines, and underground rivers. The Camuy Caves are the third-largest cave system in the world, stretching out over 300 acres, and only seven miles of caves have been explored so far.
